The banks are operating under ever strict compliance and service level agreement scenarios. The banks are mandated to ensure the branches uptime, ATM availability and cash/notes readiness in the kiosks. The regulators now impose significant penalties in case such SLAs are not.
 
To be able to serve society with always-available cash, the banks have employed mobile/roaming ATMs. It becomes a greater challenge to mobilize these roaming ATMs where they are needed the  most and that too with adequate cash/notes.
